Frequently asked questions.

What if my dog doesn’t like the water?

No problem! As long as your dog likes to be with you, we’ll be alright! Sometimes dogs who don’t like to be in the water actually make the best paddle boarders since they are motivated to stay on the board!

How many human-dog pairs can you work with at once?

Our most popular lesson is 2 humans and 1-2 dogs, so bring a friend! Our maximum is 4 humans and 4 dogs at one time. We can accommodate more at a party if there is a rotation of dogs and humans.

What does a lesson or party cost?

It depends on the number of humans and dogs! Prices starting at $75 for one human/one dog lesson.

What equipment do you provide?

We provide the boards, paddles, human and dog personal flotation devices (and have a variety of sizes), leashes for boards, extra leashes for dogs, fanny packs, dog treats (BYOT if your dog has food allergies!) and water.

What should I bring with me?

  • A 5-6’ long dog leash with a hand loop at the top of it, that you and your dog are comfortable with and can get wet (we recommend 5-6 ft if you have it)

    • No retractable leashes allowed

  • High value dog treats- pick something that fits any of your dog’s dietary restrictions and something your dog doesn’t normally get but LOVES. You know your dog best, but here are some examples: tiny pieces of hot dog, string cheese, freeze-dried beef liver or cheese, etc.

  • Athletic clothes that can get wet (or bathing suit and cover – we recommend shorts and a rash guard/long sleeved UPF shirt). Dress for the weather forecast!

  • Reusable water bottle filled for yourself and your pup (we will provide a bowl and extra water!)

  • Towel

  • Sunscreen

  • Change of clothes
