Are you looking for a fun way to bond with your dog, get outside, and spend some time together on the water? Join us for a private or small group lesson for you and your pup to learn to SUP. All dog breeds and all levels of paddle experience welcome! Spend some time with us to help increase your confidence and get you and your best friend comfortable paddling together. We also offer small paddle parties for you and your friends (human and canine!).
About our lessons

You’ll have a safe and fun experience with your best human and fur friend(s) and walk away with memories, photos/videos, and stories to tell your dog-loving friends and family!
No Paddle Experience Necessary
We’re happy to teach you the basics of SUP and will have you successfully paddling on the same board as your friend by the end of a lesson (the length and style of this paddle is up to you and your pup!). Already a more advanced paddler? We will help you hone your skills, add a pup, or share your love of paddling with friends!
SUP in CT
There are lots of great places to stand up paddleboard in Connecticut; from the Long Island Sound to marshes, ponds, lakes, and tidal rivers - we have some great spots in mind but can also come to you!
Meet the SUP Sisters CT Team
Kaitlin and Heather are sisters, educators, environmentalists, and paddlers with over 10 years of experience in both education and stand-up paddleboarding. They are proud dog moms to a beloved rescue pup, Sage (a beagle, pitbull, etc. mix), who learned to paddle within a week of adoption. They are dog lovers who understand that all dogs are different and have unique needs! Most recently they have trained Sage to overcome some rescue pup fears, talk with buttons, and paddle (of course)! They have taught humans and dogs to paddle in multiple states, and are excited to teach you and your pup a sport you can enjoy together! As of 2023 they are also PaddleFit Certified Coaches (About — PaddleFit (paddlefitpro.com)!

Founding Dog
Even though Sage wasn’t the first dog we taught, she is our inspiration and founding dog for SUP Sisters CT. Disclaimer: while dogs are amazing, they are not capable of paddling on their own (Sage was anchored and within reach during this photo).
